"We loved our night at Captain Cove. It was so nostalgic of my family road trips as a kid. Yes, it's very 80's Roadside Motel inside the rooms, but they are clean and comfortable. The staff was so nice and my kids LOVED the pool. Quick walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants around. You can also grill in their adorable courtyard. Would definitely go back!"

"We had a lovely time in this cozy cottage by the waterway and minutes from the beach. Easy walking distance, great location for sunsets and sunrises. We brought our puppy and she had ample space to roam outdoors. We cooked some meals and had a great time reconnecting together as a family."

"Charming house, right on the beach. Excellent location, close to all that Oak Island has to offer…summer concerts in the park a short walk away, the pier, many restaurants, marsh walks/fishing. Groceries about a 3 minute drive. Highly recco making the short drive to Southport, great food and views. Overall great stay. Owner was very responsive. Highly recommend for a wonderful, laid back beach vacation. "

"For an older property the rooms were well cleaned and nice, could be a bit more soundproof. Very friendly atmosphere from the office staff and the other guests. Very short walk to the beach, pool was great and area was clean. It was really nice to be able to continue using the parking lot, pool, pier and bathroom they provide after checkout. Would definitely stay there again! "

"This is our 2nd year staying at this cottage. We love the easy access to the beach right off the back deck. The views are gorgeous from inside the home and from the deck. The interior is very colorful and welcoming. We love Holden Beach and we plan to go back again next year and stay in this home once again."
