Could do with more lounge style seating upstairs. We had no bedside tables in our room. Would have been nice to have window coverings on upstairs window facing street, where the dining table was located. room."

"This a beautifully peaceful place. If you need somewhere to rest and recharge this is it. A lovely home with everything we needed. It has a really good kitchen and incredibly well stocked pantry. Heaps of living space. The gardens are always worth a stroll. Left here incredibly relaxed."

"My family and I had the most relaxing vacation.. This place was amazingly spacious and peaceful to stay at. Everything was there for a stress free getaway. We loved the location. It was very tranquil and quiet but wasn't far from the shops at Cessnock if we wanted something. We would definitely love to stay here again and we highly recommend this place to anyone!!!"

"Our stay as two families with teens at “Chilling Lakeside” was truly relaxing (mid Dec 2024). The booking process was easy, and communication with the gracious hosts was excellent. The house was well-equipped including entertainment for the adults / teens, good books and amazing views with stunning sunsets enjoyed by the jetty and around the firepit. Pelicans coasting along the water and friendly little ducklings were a joy. The nearby Coastal and Co takeaways had the best burgers and our trip...

"Really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars because almost everything was brilliant. Staff where very nice and helpful. Food was brilliant. The premise was nice, the rooms looked brilliant. But unfortunately for me and my wife the bed was very hard. And woke up sore every morning. That might just be us, Though so I still highly recommended giving it a go. If I knew they where to get softer mattresses I would most definitely stay there again. "
