Estilo Hotel is an excellent choice for a stay in Budapest. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights after the Amsterdam to Budapest river cruise, and the hotel was a few minutes walk from the port in Vaci St, a great mall in Budapest. Excellent restaurants are near, and we paid for the 48 hour hop-on hop-off bus, as Budapest is a big city. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent and the room spacious and clean. Staff were very helpful. I highly recommend the Estilo Fashion Hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights in September 2024. The location was a 2 minute walk to the metro and trolley station. Lots of restaurants around, and a quick walk to the river. Staff was extremely helpful and breakfast was excellent. The add states they had laundry but only offered a service on certain days. There was a laundry facility a few blocks away that we had to use instead. This hotel is excellent for the price

Pros: Great location. Espresso machine in Lobby. Nespresso machine in room with pods, complimentary water bottle, fridge. Great water pressure in Shower. Breakfast was decent, loved hot milk for coffee! Cons: Lobby was very hot and a long wait to check in. Soap, lotion and towels are very low motel-like quality. You have to keep closing building door even though it’s a hotel and the knob is not normal door handle. Not the best AC but fair. Shower head is not the best and shoots all over the bathroom if you turn it up too much.

As with most hotels the difference between okay and excellent usually comes down to the people. Bence at the front desk and Anne at the morning breakfast made me feel welcome and went out of their way to help me make my stay special.

The staff were lovely, and the rooms “looked” nice, but we couldn’t shower with the shower head hooked on the wall, as it blasted water EVERYWHERE. Our toilet also randomly would not flush. Beds were comfortable, but we found a few live bugs in our room.
