"Great place to take the kids. The only down side was the staff in the brewery cafe and dinning near the kids pool. They were rude and and not very helpful. Other than that it was a great experience and we would stay again."

"Very comfortable hotel with fantastic views over the Hunter Valley. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner in the bar area was excellent as was the singer/guitar player. Breakfast was the best yet in Australia and staff were wonderful."

"The location was amazing, with some fantastic views and close to local attractions and vineyards! Due to an error with the Expedia booking information reaching the hotel we did receive an upgrade for free. The room itself was great, the outside and some some features needed some attention. Fresh coat of paint, securing the fly screen ect. Pool was quite small. The aircon in the room was only in the front room and not the main bedroom, that has a ceiling fan. Although not associated with the hotel the restaurant onsite is a must visit. "

"Stayed in 204, the room was perfect for our 1 night stay, Only 2 suggestions would be to place a topper on the bed so its more cosy And have the loungeroom tv mounted to the wall so if you have the sofa lounge you can adjust the tv and remove the desk 10/10 score for everything from checkin to checkout"

"During our 5-day trip to Hunter Valley and Port Stephens, this hotel was by far the best choice we made. For our anniversary trip, the hotel staff upgraded us to the Hunter Suite and surprised us with a lovely bottle of local sparkling wine—such a thoughtful touch! We also had dinner at Botanica, one of their associated restaurants, located about a 15-minute drive from the hotel. The meal was excellent and well worth the trip. Breakfast at the hotel was another highlight, as we enjoyed it outdoors in a serene and picturesque setting. One of the most memorable moments was sipping wine while watching kangaroos hop around the property—a truly magical experience. The hotel grounds are stunning, and the attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. Overall, a beautiful property with outstanding service that made our anniversary trip extra special."
