"Nice relaxing place"

"Absolutely loved our stay here! My partner and I stayed here for our mini honey moon for a week, it was comfortable and just what we needed. We had a beautiful view that seemed like something from the movies, we enjoyed the pool and the continental breakfast! The only slight mishap was that on one of the cards welcoming and congratulating us it had the wrong names but nonetheless we were greatful - other than that the only other feedback is for people staying more long term it could be beneficial for guests to have maybe a small dustpan to sweep the floors over the days as it did accumulate. Room services were amazing and staff very responsive. "

"We just spent a night here and the Convent is beautiful. Lovely surroundings, nice pool and a lovely comfy room opening out onto a lovely shared balcony with comfy seats. Breakfast was good and our waitress was super nice and attentive. Getting a local taxi in the evening was tricky so just be aware that the well known online ride share company does have taxis in the Hunter Valley! "

"Stayed in 204, the room was perfect for our 1 night stay, Only 2 suggestions would be to place a topper on the bed so its more cosy And have the loungeroom tv mounted to the wall so if you have the sofa lounge you can adjust the tv and remove the desk 10/10 score for everything from checkin to checkout"

"During our 5-day trip to Hunter Valley and Port Stephens, this hotel was by far the best choice we made. For our anniversary trip, the hotel staff upgraded us to the Hunter Suite and surprised us with a lovely bottle of local sparkling wine—such a thoughtful touch! We also had dinner at Botanica, one of their associated restaurants, located about a 15-minute drive from the hotel. The meal was excellent and well worth the trip. Breakfast at the hotel was another highlight, as we enjoyed it outdoors in a serene and picturesque setting. One of the most memorable moments was sipping wine while watching kangaroos hop around the property—a truly magical experience. The hotel grounds are stunning, and the attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. Overall, a beautiful property with outstanding service that made our anniversary trip extra special."
