"Convenient for early morning flight when travelling from a distant home base, and very budget friendly property of a better than expected standard. Enjoyed the clean rooms with great amenities, excellent shower, good selection of tea provided for early morning cuppa. Downside is construction of new car park next door if you’re in the rooms away from the elevators. Enjoyed a meal and drink in the onsite bistro - which was very busy but attentive staff and quick service. Bus shuttle to airport (for a fee) was great but if you only have 1 bag you can easily walk to domestic."

"Rydges was great, had early check in. If you are going to the Ekka, just know, to park before 12pm is $15 extra, and something I feel they should advertise around Ekka time. We had a free drink, which was nice, though, I had a postmix softdrink and would have preferred a bottle, as my friend got a nice alcoholic bevie, will speak up next time. Just a second note on parking, make sure you check your account when exiting, as it took a 2nd amount out, have contacted them and still waiting for a refund! Other wise great place to stay, especially around Ekka time."

"Great place to stay if you need a BNE airport stopover. Easy walk to Skygate Mall which has a 24hrs Woolworths and the DFO Outlets. The rooms are super clean, quality fittings and comfy bed. It’s also very quiet so easy to get a good nights rest. "

"Lovely hotel. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the river. Beautiful! The room was spacious and so beautifully decorated. Bathroom also spacious and well lit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay including the cosy bar downstairs. Would definitely stay again."
