"Overall a good stay although the service at El Molina restaurant could have been better. Had to wait 20 minutes for a table because no tables had been cleaned off. One night our toilet plugged up and after calling and no one coming to fix after an hour I had to walk to the front desk to get some service."

"Very well looked after Boutique Hotel. Room was spacious with comfortable bed, fridce snd AC. The courtyard was gorgeous with tropical flowers and plants. Coffee, tea and mexican bakery was offered in the morning. Lots of options for restaurants and Cafes in walking distance. Short walk to the marina and the bars for partying. Only drawback was the noise coming from a nearby night club. Ear plugs recommended for a good night‘s sleep."

"The newly renovated Tropicana was having a soft opening. Staff was a little green and not all the rooms were open. That said it is still a lovely place and a wonderful location to visit old town San Jose del Cabo. Staff was very anxious to make our stay overnight a wonderful experience and they did! Have stayed at the Tropicana off and on for 30 years!"
