"We spent 10 nights in this wonderfully adapted old school house. The atmosphere is calm and inviting. We were happily greeted by Irena our host and received a kind and wonderful welcome! The house was spotless and is well appointed. Everything you could need is available and Irena will work to make your stay enjoyable if you do find you need anything. Ceilings are low and the bed is short if your a tall person like me, but certainly doesn’t hold back the property or experience!"

"We would like to share our experience in Socalco as is was unforgettable! From the moment you arrive you welcomed with big smiles and easy going chatter, welcome drink and the tour of the hotel including the kitchen! And the kitchen, what a beautiful and unique place that is that Andrea, the chef created with his colleagues! You must try their cooking classes as it is an experience and a half! Making the bread was my favourite! I also was lucky enough to join their chef for dinner service and it was the most exhilarating experience that I’ve ever had and will never forget. The food is stunning, every breakfast and dinner is fabulous and the afternoon cakes are to die for! Everything is made from natural, locally grown and organic ingredients and it’s so tasty!! If you’re a foodie, like my husband and I, you’ll enjoy the stay there! The hotel itself is situated on the cliff and it has fabulous views, the rooms are modern and comfortable! "Thomas' property was immaculate and had everything you could need for a short break. Jhonny came down to welcome us, and was a kind and gracious host, dropping everything to help us when our water supply suddenly went off. Balcony was great for evening sunbathing, and Arco itself is well positioned for easily getting around the island. All in all, very happy. Only thing missing was a pool, but you can't have everything :D Thanks Thomas and Jhonny for a great stay! "

"Lovely small town of Prazeres with multiple excellent restaurants and a lovely well appointed house. Very clean & spacious for the 4 of us with outside space for relaxing in the evening. Air Con was a blessing ! One improvement would be a more modern smart TV to access Netflix etc especially for the youngsters, other than this its perfect."

"This property is absolutely breathtaking, when we booked we knew it would be amazing but the reality of the property and the location is so much more than the listing shows. I was extremely impressed with the property itself, so much bigger and better than the pictures portray. The views from the property are out of this world, absolutely stunning. Sleeping with the door open listening to the waves is something else. I cannot rate this property enough, Jardim Do Mar is beautiful, whilst we did explore some of Madeira I would have been content staying put. We will absolutely be looking to return we have fallen in love with Madeira and this house, I fear for any future bookings elsewhere as I don’t think they will live up to this. Sinply amazing"
