Avenue Hotel stay
"Happy with my stay. 4 star hotel with 5 star vibes. Great service. Free breakfast, foods were OK (mostly Filipino foods). Free shuttle to airport. Nice comfortable bed and room also with enough space. The place accessible to city center by short distance by car. Have some good restaurants and bar outside hotel. "

"This is a very affordable hotel. The rooms are nice and clean. The staff is very helpful. Even though their system didn't have my reservation from Expedia they worked with me and found the reservation after a while. The first room I stayed in had a wonderful hot shower. The second room the hot water was very hard to get to work and would cut off randomly. The AC in the first room worked wonderfully but the second room the AC unit was old and tired. It did cool down the room eventually but it really needs to be retired and replaced. The shower area and bathroom was absolutely wonderful. However the second room the shower divider leaked and I would always have a pool of water on the floor of the main bathroom area after a shower.
One tip I can give. The big rain shower heads are nice however they clog with hard water and minerals. You really need to clean these for them to function correctly. Both the first room and the second room had shower heads that didn't function correctly due to some of the holes being clogged.
The free breakfast was a bit disappointing but it was free and it was food. I really wish they would give you a bigger cup of coffee.
The free airport shuttle is awesome. This makes the hotel worth it if nothing else.
Also this hotel's location makes it well worth it. You are within walking distance of the 2 malls. Lots of street vendors and tricycles are always waiting to take you to further destinations at a good rate."
