"This apartment was disappointing, only because with a tiny bit of care and effort it could be so much more. The apartment was huge! 2 floors, 2 huge bedrooms with large comfortable beds, and 2 full bathrooms. The real estate for the the cost was truly amazing, unfortunately it was difficult to be comfortable in the space. The couch in the “living room” was disgusting, as was all the other upholstered furniture. Visible staining with god only knows what, the mattress didn’t fold into the couch...

Two of the rooms had air conditioning available which was very welcome with the warm temperatures and humidity outside. There was plenty of space, rooms, and beds for all of us. We were right next to one of Venice's canals and could watch boats and gondolas glide by below."

"Filipo and Silvia have designed a lovely and very comfortable apartment located right by the canal. They are very responsive hosts and make themselves available. There are very good locally frequented restaurants nearby. The area is perfect - a quiet neighborhood away from the tourist center but close enough to get everywhere. Away from most of the crowds - the street was a little loud but by 11 pm (on a Saturday) had quieted down. Did not see a grill or hot tub but didn’t have a need for those in a cool November.
