"The Sorell Barracks' Garden Shed which i stayed in for a night was well equipped, comfortable, secure and warm. The 4 poster double bed was charming. The TV reception was good. The heater worked. The kitchenette was well equipped. There was plenty of hot water for the shower. The front door key was in a key safe on the door, the code to which was txted to me on the day of arrival. I never did see or hear the owners / managers, which felt a bit odd, but I'm sure they were contactable had I...

"Beautiful old historic property with 4 joined areas including 2 small studio rooms as well as our 2 bedroom cottage . The place is currently for sale and there is a lot of maintenance and repair work to be done. The chimney in the front room has been blocked off with ply which blows in and out in the wind and rain making for a bit of a noisy night. It was however warm and well appointed. Nice town. "

"Fantastic base to explore Richmond and Hobart with great views from the front deck. Compact cottage but manages to feel roomy with three bedrooms and a living area. No dining table inside but we managed at the kitchen bench. Dishwasher and heater could do with an upgrade, but the owners are very responsive to any queries. Richmond is great little town to explore, and we were only 20 minutes or so out from Hobart and MONA."
