"The property is designed for the view of the river - and for good reason. It's a beautiful view, while we were there the salmon were leaping and eagles swooped past. Inside the property is nicely decorated with only a few small issues. Outside the property does look a bit shabby but this does not impact on the quality of the stay at all. Not enough hot water for a decent bath and slow communications with the host."

"This property was so spacious and inviting. The windows and patio door give you lots of natural light. The kitchen was well equipped. Debbie was available whenever I had occasion to contact her and was always very friendly. The purpose of my trip was to visit family. The only concern was the availability of hot water at the kitchen sink but I did contact Debbie regarding this and she said that she would have a plumber look at this issue. "We had an amazing getaway at this beach home. We enjoyed walks on the beach, and watching seals and birds. The home was comfortable, and had all the essential amenities for a comfortable stay. Rich walked us through the home, and was very welcoming, and gave us great recommendations for dinner. The home is also very close to Comox and Courtenay for a quick grocery/coffee run. We hope to return soon! "

"The place had excellent reviews, which is partially why we chose it. It did not disappoint! The hot tub was well maintained and a lovely addition. The kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom were incredibly clean and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need to cook. We packed a cooler with food so we could make breakfast and lunch there and we lacked nothing! Hosts were non-intrusive, but very supportive! We felt like we had a truly memorable getaway space! 10/10-would stay...
