Good location and value
We stayed in a two bedroom condo which was clean with everything you needed for a family once we got in to the property. The check in process is to visit another holiday complex near the condo's. Unfortunately we booked with expedia and they did not make this clear so we had to call back to the UK to get details. They did supply a local number but there was just an answer service on this number. We even visited a local business who were very helpful and called the number but could never get an answer. The property once you did get in was great. Clean and very well equipped with secure parking. Again lack of info let the company down. When you went to use the hot tub on the top floor you had to use a stairwell which you did not get a key to so were then locked in the stairwell ! A resident let us out and explained you have to go to the basement where the parking is and then take the elevator to your level, not the best system if you have just got out a hot tub ! After we left the we realised we had left something behind and called the number given by reception but again only got the answer service and they never returned any calls. Would stay again now we know the process as the room was great but the service lets it down.

The room was wonderfu(3 bedrooms- condo), but had no A/C. Website made no mention of this when it was booked. This particular room got very warm at night, thus hard to sleep.

This is NOT a hotel
Even though Canmore Crossing is a beautiful property and in a prime location in Canmore, it is a short stay vacation rental and NOT a hotel. There is no front front desk, any hotel personnel, or even a luggage cart. The apartment was nice, but the temperature can not be turned down and the apartment was hot overall and there are notes on some of the windows stating, do not open due to wind gusts.

Great, cozy place for large family!
We loved the condo we stayed in at Canmore Crossing. It was large enough for a family of 4 with 2 Japanese exchange students. Location was awesome as we were right across from Safeway to buy food to cook in the well stocked kitchen. When you are traveling with a large family it is important for us to be able to cook as restaurant bills are so high. Comfy living area was wonderful to relax in and we had 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms, plus a pullout couch. Short drive to Banff meant lots of easy sightseeing! Loved that everything was keyless and we could come and go on our own. Kids loved the hot tub. Wonderful stay for excellent price!

Great central location
For our family stay with four adults and two children the unit offered everything we needed. However, the unit is beginning to look a bit dated, and needs a refresher.

Not impressed with the service. No wifi, no house keeping, and didn't like having to check in at Lodges of Canmore. For $500 it was not worth it. There was 1 day supply of coffee even though we were there 2 nights and it was a charge for more. The rooms were not very clean. I would never stay here again and would not recommend this place. I did not feel as though I got my money's worth from this place at all. If it had cost me $200 maybe but not for $500.

Good family condo
Great location in the middle of Canmore. Have to check in at a different hotel, which is a bit awkward. Comfortable, and well-appointed. Only criticism is that we weren't provided with enough towels, there wasn't any extra toilet paper, and they didn't provide dish soap, etc (as provided). But, they were prompt at bringing all the missing items when requested. Overall good stay!

Very disappointed. When we arrived we found out that we were moved to Fire Lodge Mountain. So that meant that some of us were sharing bed. That was why I had booked the Canmore Crossing so each one of us could have our own bed. Towels were missing for some of us as well as pillow case. Not enough blanket and to top it all when we got to the unit it was 46 degrees Farenheit! My 70 years old mother took about 4 hours to warm up and as the heating system was not working I had to call maintenance who came and fixed it. Just very disappointing as I wanted this to be a perfect stay for my family who came all the way from France.

location great! Should consider standardizing wi-fi. Also, 2 days only 1 of the 3 hot tubs was available and it was too cold to stay in.

Not as what it seems
Spent 2 nights there with 3 couples. Went to check in and was told all the units were pet free even though it says on the website I can have up to 5 pets in the room. So I had to wait forever to check in, the staff had to notify the manager and kept talking about deep cleaning fees. And I had already paid for the room up front. After about 20 minutes I finally asked if we are getting the room or not. The woman handed me a sheet and left. I had to ask someone else for directions on how to get to the condo and it was a free for all trying to figure out the codes for the elevator, room and garage, and also figuring out which parking stalls were ours. It would have taken the reception 2 minutes to explain this all.

Great location, lots of room, fabulous view frm deck
We actually stayed at the Lodges at Canmore, as there were 9 of us, we needed 3 units, but the Crossing couldn't put all of us in same bldg. Location was great, only about a km from downtown (lots of free parking), and 15-min walk to large outdoor shopping area -Safeway, Cdn Tire, Mark's, Scotiabank, many other stores. Layout of the condo was pretty good. About 6 steps down from entry to main area ( livingroom, full kitchen, bathroom, queen bdrm), then a short flight of stairs up to the loft bdrm (queen bed) and another bathroom. This was actually an enclosed area, just no door, but private, as you can't see anything but the landing when you look up from the entry. All units had in-suite washer and dryer. Very convenient. We had 3 units, 2 across the hall from each other, and one just down the hall. They all had TV in bdrm and livingroom, fireplaces, a/c,balconies with amazing views, BBQ's and a table with 2 chairs. The kitchens were fairly well stocked, but as we used one of the condos for all our meals (it had a much bigger kitchen and livingroom than my unit), what one didn't have, we got from the others. We arrived at 7 PM Monday , one of the condos had NO TOWELS AT ALLl. We called numerous times, kept getting promises, but it was late the next afternoon before we got a few towels, not nearly enough for three women, and extra blankets for the sofabed. They said the resort didn't do laundry on Mondays, but nobody mentioned that in any of our phone call.

Nice place near Banff
The condo was perfect for my family of six. Great space for everyone. Having Safeway and Starbucks across the parking lot was an added bonus. Check-in process was a bit confusing as the office is located at a different facility. Be sure to call ahead and get clear direction on the check-in process. Service was friendly and prompt. Overall, it was a good value and we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for large group
Nice location for access to Banff and Lake Louise with quieter surroundings. Great size condo for 7 adults plus baby! Very well stocked for meal preparation and appreciated the barbq for cooking. Good access to grocery stores. A bit of an issue to find location for key pickup. Not what was indicated on letter of confirmation. Otherwise a wonderful spot!

Great place with a unconventional loft.
Great place for a ski vacation. Central location. Grocery, ski rentals, and other shops close by. No wifi for the particular unit we were in. Had a old TV, could use a newer model. Amazing 5-7 person rooftop hot tub. First thing you see in the loft area when reaching the top of the stairs is the toilet. No walls between the toilet and bed in the loft. But there is a folding wall that can be put up. Did not bother our group, we just made a rule "no #2 upstairs". Also, there is a washroom with a shower stall in the gym down the hall.

Worst I've stayed at in Canmore
This hotel is in a great location and the suite (3-bedroom, 2-bathroom) was spacious. The housekeeping, however, was awful and included such lovely surprises as blood on the bedsheets (which did not appear to be washed) and mold in the coffee maker. The suite furnishing, etc. also appears to be totally dependent on owner preference. Of the three (tiny) TVs in the suite, two had integrated VHS machines (for those of you who are too young to know what those are, they were the precursors of DVD players). The one DVD player did not work. Pot lids were mismatched, dishes were chipped, etc. Hotel staff were off-site and took just under 24 hours to respond to our request for more supplies. I was embarrassed to have booked this place for our group and would not stay here again.

Great Place to stay close to the Rockies!
This is the 2nd time we stayed @ Canmore Crossing and we really enjoyed our stay. It is a very relaxing place seeing the mountains from our windows. It is also a bonus that we can buy our groceries from nearby stores and very close to downtown for more shopping. We are looking forward already for our next visit. Thank you for accomodating our family.

fantastic
Wonderful apartment, just a few minutes walk into the village. We are a couple and my mum - all of whom were very pleased with the accommodation. Lots of space, excellent temperature control, great kitchen facilities and brilliant views set in a quiet but safe feeling area I strongly recommend you contact them in Canmore directly before departing for your trip. This is because you need a code to use the lift or stairs to the apartment and a further code for the apartment itself. They also want forms signing before they will provide the codes. We don't have a scanner, and so could not print the forms, sign them, scan them in and then email back to the company, this meant us having to first go to Canmore lodges to sort this out (about 10 -15 mins walk from Canmore crossing apartments) In all this was the best accommodation I have ever used and this is saying a lot because we are seasoned travelers - book it now but just be aware of the need to contact them prier to arrival (the phone number was provided on our confirmation when we booked with Expedia)
