"We loved everything about this hotel and didn’t want to leave. Be aware it’s far from the busy side of the island but you can use Grab or a taxi to get around. It’s perfect for a restful rejuvenating vacation. The food was good and good selection. We loved the private pool room. "

"We stayed here for our honeymoon. The place itself is fablous. We stayed in a villa with private pool and everything seemed new and nice. However the location is the biggest disadvantage. It takes around 30min to Patong. There are not much shops or things to do around the hotel. So we ended up renting motorbike for two days(100m from hotel) to get around. Having said we stayed in villa with private pool, the main pool of the hotel was also for our private use. We've come across literally 2 more...

"The beds were super comfortable and the shower was great. The mini bar had some nice complimentary items. Unlike many places, the rooms were not serviced each day, nor was the water replaced. Our room had a door to an adjoining room, and we could hear everything that happened in the next room. The service we received was exceptional and we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay again."

"We stayed in The Oceanic Sportel for 5 nights. We, however, spent most of the days on tours and did not use any of the facilities hotel offers (pool, gym, tennis courts). Be aware of the location of the hotel, there are no close beaches as most of them are on the other side of the island. The staff is always nice. We took breakfast at the hotel as well. The breakfast offers a lot to choose from. "
