"The pictures online look more modern and well kept than it actually was. But it was fine...we were just a little surprised. The actual location was further into the woods than we anticipated. If it had been snowy, we may have been in trouble. as I don't recall any encouragement to have chains or a vehicle that could handle it. One of the large beds upstairs was interesting. 1/2 of it was totally sunken in and the other 1/2 was normal. Good thing we had not planned for a couple to stay in that...

"Overall this is a great location. Convenient to near by attractions. The upstairs portion of the house does get a little cold compared to the downstairs, but a few extra blankets on the bed and it’s great! Cheryl was very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay! Would definitely book again."

"Perfectly serviceable for our one-night stay. Carrizozo is a tiny town with very few services, but we were not looking for much. We had to be out and on the road very early for the Trinity site open house, so I don't think we were in this room for a full 12 hours. "

"We had a wonderful stay in the house. The house is completely furnished with anything you need. The furniture is comfortable. The outside views are great. Every morning, as we drank our coffee on the back deck, we would see deer. My husband saw a bear one morning when he was up earlier. Even though neighbors are around, everything was very quiet. We would recommend and hope to stay here again!"

"We loved this VRBO! It is just a 12 min or so drive to Ruidoso and 5 mins off the highway tucked in the beautiful hills. The tubing at winter park and ski Apache was literally 3 minutes down the highway. Also, just a 15-20 min drive to all the great hiking areas. The house was modern and incredibly roomy with 3 very large bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The sheets were soft, but best of all they had a big L shaped couch that the 4 of us flopped out on every night in front of a real fire making s’mores...
