Peaceful Ligurian self-catering country cottage

A quaint rustic small cottage with its own central heating, two bedrooms with separate entrances, each with bathrooms en-suite and one fully equipped kitchen. The two bedrooms are in separate buildings right in front of each other and separated by a small courtyard.
Note: If a couple make a booking, only the double room will be made available. If the second bedroom is required, this must be specified when booking.
The cottage is situated in a large spacious open leafy green context.
It's a very peaceful and relaxing setting.
25Km from the sea, which is very close to the famous "Cinque Terre".
There is a pizzeria/restaurant located in front of the house.
7 km from the house, there is a newly renovated outdoor public pool with restaurant and pizzeria facilities.
Note:
Due to the layout of the sleeping accommodation, the house is not suitable for toddlers.
Even though the bedrooms are beside each other, they are in separate buildings and therefore a child/children should be at least 10 years old.

wonderful quiet place
Spacious house in a big garden. Two bedrooms with shower and a kitchen/sitting room. Good place to stay if you want to visit the Cinque Terre. The friendly owner is available to give all the information how to make your visit as good as possible.

Wir haben uns an diesem ruhigen und friedlichen Ort sehr wohlgefühlt! Die Ferienwohnung ist wunderschön und das Ambiente ganz besonders. Das gilt auch für die Gastgeber Hilda und Riccardo - wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Sie waren jederzeit für uns da! Uriges Wohnen in den Hügeln
Wir haben den Aufenthalt bei Hilda und Riccardo sehr genossen - sie haben uns herzlich empfangen und mit Tipps für Ausflüge, Wein und Brot versorgt und waren wunderbare Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft ist urig, liegt wunderschön in den Hügeln und ist gut eingerichtet. Es gibt zahllose Wandermöglichkeiten - auch die Küste und die Cinque Terre sind in etwas über einer halben Stunde erreichbar. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Ein Juwel zum Wohlfühlen
Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohlgefühlt, was zum einen an der sehr schönen Unterkunft und zum anderen an den außerordentlich liebenswerten und herzlichen Hausbesitzern Hilda und Riccardo gelegen hat, die bei Fragen jederzeit erreichbar (wohnen im gleichen Haus) und für uns da waren. An dieser Stelle nochmal ein herzliches Dankeschön … Einfach ein Ort zum Entspannen und Wohlfühlen. Man braucht ca. 30 Minuten, um an die Küstenorte zu kommen (hier empfiehlt sich für Cinque Terre Levanto als Ausgangsbasis, um mit dem Zug die fünf Dörfer zu erkunden und auch Sestri Levante hat uns sehr gut gefallen). Im Dorf gibt es einen tollen Bäcker und einen kleinen Dorfsupermarkt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder…

Idealer Rückzugsort in den Bergen
Wir haben eine herrliche Urlaubswoche ( viel zu kurz) bei Hilda und Riccardo in Carro verbracht. Die kleinen steinernen Häuschen weitab vom Massentourismus, mitten in der Natur, waren genau das Richtige für uns. In Carro gibt es eine Pizzeria/Bar, einen Bäcker und einen kleinen Laden in dem man Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs kaufen kann. Für größere Einkäufe fährt man nach Sesta Godano, Levanto oder Brugnato.Die Strände Deiva Marina und Bonassola haben uns am besten gefallen. Kristallklares Wasser, kleine, übersichtliche Strände. Ausflüge zur Cinque Terre sind von Levanto mit dem Zug oder per Schiff möglich. Für die guten Tipps von Hilda sind wir sehr dankbar. Es hat einfach alles gepasst. Vielen lieben Dank Hilda und Riccardo für die wundervolle Zeit. Wir kommen wieder!

Ein bezauberndes Cottage in absolut ruhiger Gegend
Wir wurden herzlichst von Hilda und Riccardo begrüßt und waren beeindruckt über dieses liebevoll eingerichtete Cottage etwas außerhalb von Carro. Hilda und Riccardo sind sehr herzliche und aufgeschlossene Gastgeber, wir waren immer wieder erstaunt über die Herzlichkeit,Hilfsbereitschaft und Zuvorkommenheit.Es fehlte uns an nichts!! Ein extra Regenschirm an unserem einzigen verregneten Tag, Zucchini aus dem eigenen Garten, viele Tips für die Umgebung, eine liebevolle Aufmerksamkeit zum Abschied und,und,und...Wir sagen herzlichst Dankeschön für diesen wundervollen Aufenthalt in diesem kleinen Cottage. Wonderful place to feel at home in Liguria
We feel very lucky that we found this lovely place for our vacation in Liguria. Hilda and Riccardo are warm and caring hosts who do everything to make you feel welcome and at home. Lots of nature all around with great hiking opportunities starting directly from the house or in short driving distance. The rooms are very nicely furnished (great matress, we slept like stones!!!) and the wonderful garden/ terrace can be used for relaxed and cosy chill out times. We had a great time in Liguria and hope to come back to Carro one day.

Wonderful time
The hosts Hilda and Ricardo are very friendly and provided us with everything we needed. We had a lovely stay. The surroudings are very quiet. In the evening just the sounds of crickets and owls (and the occasional boar sniffing around in the forest). Definitely recommended!

Wunderbare Unterkunft in sehr schöner Lage
Ligurien ist wunderschön, man braucht allerdings ein Auto und sollte kein Problem mit Serpentinen haben. Pizzerien, Strände und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind dann gut zu erreichen. Für die Dörfer der Cinque Terre empfiehlt sich die Fähre ab Levanto. Die Unterkunft ist noch hübscher als auf den Bildern. Die beiden Häuschen sind sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir haben oft auf der Terrasse gefrühstückt oder in der Küche Brettspiele gespielt - es ist so gemütlich, dass man gar nicht immer wegfahren muss, um eine gute Zeit zu haben. Unsere Kinder haben die Eidechsen geliebt, die man zahlreich auf den Mauern gesehen hat (okay, nicht nur die Kinder). Das WLAN war stabil. Hilda und Riccardo sind wundervolle Gastgeber: aufmerksam, hilfsbereit, sehr herzlich und kinderfreundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden die Unterkunft gerne weiterempfehlen.

Typisch ligurisches Berghäuschen, geschmackvoll eingerichtet in wunderschöner Umgebung
Wir haben eine Woche in dem supersüßen typisch ligurischen Berghäuschen, in dem im Erdgeschoss Schlafzimmer mit Bad und Küche zu finden sind, sehr genossen. Für unsere Tochter gab es ein Zimmer mit Hochbett und eigenem Bad in einem weiteren hübschen, schön renovierten ehrmaligem Wirtschaftsgebäude. Zwischen den beiden kleinen Häuschen, in dem oben die Gastgeber wohnen, befindet sich in hübscher, mit Blumentöpfen und Sitzgelegenheiten dekorierter Innenhof, vor der Küche eine schöne Terasse mit Markise. Alle Räume sind sehr liebevoll mit hellen Farben eingerichtet und strahlen mit ihren Steinwänden eine urige Behaglichkeit aus. Hilda ist eine superfreundliche herzliche Gastgeberin, bei der man sich sofort bestens aufgehoben fühlt. Der Ort Carro mit seinen historischen Häusern, kleinen Geschäften und Gässchen und die nähere Umgebung sind einen Besuch wert. Die Qinqueterre und andere Ferienorte lassen sich wunderbar von dort erreichen. Wir sind völlig begeistert und werden den stimmungsvollen Urlaub nicht so schnell vergessen.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit tollen Gastgebern
Wir hatten eine ganz tolle Zeit in Hildas und Riccardos Unterkunft. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und wirklich hübsch eingerichtet. Die Lage ist auch sehr schön! Ruhig im Hinterland der Cinque Terre mit Blick auf Wald und kleine Dörfer. Ganz besonders hervorzuheben sind die Gastgeber. Immer erreichbar und sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Wir waren mit zwei Kleinkindern dort und können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Un séjour inoubliable
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à Carro, ce fut un séjour très agréable dans une maison très charmante. Hilda et Riccardo nous ont accueillis très chaleureusement, on s'est tout de suite senti "comme à la maison"! Un véritable havre de paix dans une nature bien préservée. Carro est proche de Levanto où la station de train permet de se déplacer facilement. C'est un endroit stratégique pour visiter les Cinq Terres et les environs. Absolute Bergidylle
Unser Aufenthalt in Carró war für uns unbeschreiblich schön. Wir waren bei unserer Ankunft mehr als positiv überrascht. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und liebevoll gestaltet, alles war super sauber und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Dazu gab es die wundervollen Gastgeber Hilda und Riccardo, die sich sehr herzlich um uns gekümmert haben und für jede Frage ein offenes Ohr hatten. Sogar unser Baby wurde bestens umsorgt mit einem gemütlichen Bett und Spielzeug. Das weitläufige Grundstück und der Ausblick in die Berge sind nicht zu toppen. Es schläft sich seelenruhig und im Dorf gibt es einen kleinen Laden, um das nötigste einzukaufen. Wir haben die täglichen Ausflüge zum Meer und die Abende auf dem Berg sehr genossen und können hoffentlich bald wiederkommen.

Nous avons été superbement accueillis par Hilda. Une belle personne qui a tout fait pour que nous soyons bien dans cette grande propriété propre et pratique avec 2 ados qui avaient leur coin pour eux. Nous y sommes sentis bien tout de suite. Nous apprécions le calme après une journée de visite . Beaucoup de choses à voir à proximité et de choses à faire, randos à pied à vélos et routes très sympa à moto pour nous. La plage est facilement accessible avec parking à Levanto. Hilda a été charmante et attentive en parlant distinctement en anglais afin que nous comprenions bien. Nous reviendrions avec grand plaisir. Quiet holidays in Liguria
Our holidays in this house in Carro very extremely quiet and peaceful. The house is surrounded by the wood on one side and a valley lies below on the other. It's been very quiet and peaceful, although the next pizzeria is only 100m away - a perfect combination. Hilda and her family were very friendly and always helpful. The house is kept in perfect state and everything is very clean. We enjoyed our visit there and are looking forward for another visit somewhen.

Nous souhaitions faire une petite halte en Ligurie, avant de descendre en Toscane (Arezzo), et c'est ainsi que nous nous sommes retrouvés à Carro. Si vous aimez le calme, la marche (une multitude de sentiers de randonnée au départ du village et du cottage...pensez juste à bien étudier le parcours avant de partir ou prendre la carte, car certains sentiers ne sont pas très visibles...), les paysages montagneux, la proximité de la plage (30 minutes en voiture, et même la possibilité d'y aller en bus) et du Parc National des Cinque Terre (privilégiez le départ en train de Levanto, laissez votre véhicule au grand parking de la gare - 13€ les 8h), alors n'hésitez pas à séjourner dans ce superbe cottage très bien équipé. La propriétaire Hilda est une personne très charmante, très chaleureuse, très disponible pour ses vacanciers, et aussi, elle sait très bien accueillir ses hôtes : quoi de plus agréable, après avoir fait quelques centaines de kms, que d'être reçus autour d'un thé, ou d'une boisson fraîche, accompagné de biscuits secs... On reconnaît bien les origines irlandaises Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour. Merci à son époux et ses fils qui sont également très sympathiques Tank you for everything Hilda. We love Carro, we love Irish :)

Séjour formidable à proximité des Cinque Terre
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Carro. Ilda était au x petits soins avec nous, très chaleureuse, joyeuse et nous a beaucoup aidé dans toutes sortes de circonstances. Nous n’avons jamais été aussi bien accueilli pour nos vacances! ... La propriété est grande, très calme et en pleine nature, La maison venait d’ être entièrement rénové avec soin. Le centre du village, très beau, se remarque par ses rues pavées, ses passages, ses escaliers, son église richement décoré et pleins de petites fontaines (eau potable). Un bus gratuit amène à la plage d’où on peut accéder aux cinque terre en train. La ville de Levanto est à une demi-heure en voiture. Un grand merci à Ilda ! On y reviendra avec beaucoup de plaisir.
