The food was adequate and the policy of serving it at one large table is socially awkward. A “table d’hote” works only if there is a genuine host putting the effort in to make an evening work. The hotel benefits from there being little competition in the area, but it needs investment and better...

Plenty to do in the countryside or within 15 minutes drive, and wonderful food awaits you upon returning. Not sure we’ll ever make it back, but encourage you to spend at least one if your Connemara nights by the cozy fires at the Lach Inach Lodge. "
