"As our family has grown, and two of our older of our four children have moved away, we have made it a point to get together at least one time a year. Every third year is our White Christmas getaway. This year we chose to ski South Lake Tahoe (Heavenly) and decided to stay in Carson City. I’m a big VRBO fan and I’ve had great accommodations for our many trips. This one, however, takes the cake. A fantastic layout in a convenient neighborhood with access to both Reno and South Lake Tahoe. The home is perfectly equipped for a family of eight. with an open floor plan and all of the extras you could possibly imagine for each and every age group. We were blessed to have our 6 month old granddaughter and there was a crib, a bath, high chair and all the cups and utensils you could possibly need. From board games to Foosball, a putting green and indoor fireplace, relaxing in the evenings was perfect for family fellowship. We literally cooked every breakfast and every dinner for seven nights in a row. The dining room table is, well as the outdoor dining table, accommodates eight guests, which was perfect for us. The Kings Canyon trailhead leading to a 25 foot waterfall is only minutes away. We were less than 45 minutes away to Tahoe for our daily skiing and it was conveniently located just 30 minutes south of Reno, where we flew in from Florida, Louisiana and DC. Our hosts were very attentive and kept us informed and comfortable for our entire stay. We'll be back!! The McFamily"

"What a wonderful place to stay with my kids when we came into town for my niece’s wedding. It was perfect for us and very comfortable. The host did an excellent job of making us feel at home and making the check in and especially the checkout process easy (they took care of all the cleaning). Overall it was an excellent stay!"

"We enjoyed our stay at this property in Carson City on the occasion of a family wedding. Close proximity to Lake Tahoe, Carson City center, and the excellent swim center in town. Very comfortable beds in the two bedrooms we used, and overall the house was very well and thoughtfully provisioned with plenty of towels, kitchen & bathroom supplies, and even a thoughtful "In case you forgot" basket of personal necessities. Great outdoor spaces that we did not have occasion to use this time, but we would definitely consider staying here again."
