"Away from busy tourist spots. The restaurant recommended by our host was in Casole D'elsa Town, within walking distance, and was absolutely excellent."

"Casole Refoli is stunning!! The location is amazing - a feeling of being away from everything, yet the wonderful walled town of Casole d'Elsa is just a 15 minute drive away. The apartment was spotlessly clean with surprisingly great water pressure in the showers. Giovanna is a wonderful host, nothing is too much trouble. If you want a relaxing stay in the Tuscan countryside, this is definitely the place for you."

The home was very well equipped with all kitchen items necessary to prepare meals. AC was not available, but was not necessary, however fans were available. "5/5 star property. You never have to even leave! Staff always went out of their way to make our stay special, turndown and cleaning service was great, bfast buffet was 10/10, and property is just stunning. We also did the cooking class on property which was awesome and the hotel also set up a wine tour for us and it was great to be shown small family wineries. Such a jem of a hotel, I hope we can come back soon! "

"The property is very well maintained and very nicely finished. The interior is very nicely finished including a full kitchen with dishwasher and two nicely finished complete baths. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio for breakfast. This was our second stay at Podere Monte because we liked it so much the first time.
