This time around we arrived via train and it was much more convenient to find the hotel using the water ferry to the Casino stop. Highly recommend staying here. "

"A really lovely property, our room was so spacious and very clean when we arrived. We had complimentary drinks in the fridge and we were offered advice on the area around us. Even communicating to the staff was so simple and they were really sweet. Would recommend anyone visiting venice to stay here "

"Very nice stay in a gorgeous room, well stocked bathroom, with all amenities. Location is great for all of the sights you come to Venice for, though you do have to go a little further out to find good restaurants. Daily cleaning and mini-bar stocking was great. Could have done with a larger bin for rubbish within the room. The only friction really was trying to figure out the check-in process if arriving outside of hours (8am-4pm). "The room provided plenty of space to move around and was very comfortable. We even had a balcony. The location was walking distance to all major attractions. The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. We had continental breakfast delivered every morning and it was included. I would definitely recommend Al Portico Guest house for your stay in Venice. "
