Perfect sitting&stunning views
What an amazing stay in a beautiful villa! Great home, loved exploring D'Orcia region from this spot. The house is even better than the pictures and Gaia and Pietro were very helpful prior to, during and after arrival at the property. We spent a lot of pool time and had a cooking class arranged by Gaia - it was our most fun night! We were a party of 10 adults but can imagine that families would really enjoy this villa for their holiday! Thanks Gaia and Pietro!!!

A Magical stay!
First time renting a vacation home and overall experience was excellent. The Villa is gorgeous, very clean and well kept. The home is huge and accommodated my family perfectly , we had a total of 8 people and had plenty of room, everyone had their own space. Facilities were excellent! It has everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It became our new home in Tuscany. I would like to personally thank Gaia and Pietro for their friendliness and guidance, from the beginning they answered all my questions very quickly helping to organize all the details before our stay, I would like to say booking this was so easy!!! They have provided for everything: delicious meals, cooking class,baby sitting,transportation…… Highly recommend to everyone looking for a fantastic experience in Val D'Orcia!

Fantastic Property
My family (6 adults) had an absolutely tremendous week staying at Villa Vignalunga. The pictures of the property and its surroundings do not do it justice. Breathtaking views and extremely comfortable home Location was ideal for day trips, yet very private. Will surely return. Thank you Gaia....it was GREAT

Podere Vignalunga is a dream
If you’re looking for a high end, perfect hospitality, in one of the most amazing villas located in the heart of Tuscany, you should go there. The villa is stunning, quiet, perfectly maintained and clean.The professional kitchen is extremely helpful even if you don’t have a chef to cook for you. You must add at least one chef meal to your stay. The chef Marcella arranged for us was amazing. Probably the best Italian meal you’ll have in your life. The owner and staff are extremely nice and responsive. I highly recommend this place and hope to be back some day.

magic location,incredible views
Villa Vignalunga was the best vacation rental I've ever had. Like many other reviewers, it exceeded our expectations and seemed to be the place on earth for our 5 days. It's in the heart of beautiful Tuscany. We drove to many small towns and access was easy. We lived through a major storm and thanks to Gaia & Pietro who were very responsive and gracious about the situation. Saba cooked us amazing meals. I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate my 50th with my best friends. I miss it already and hope to return someday! :) HUGE THANK YOU!!

PERFECT!
Thank you so much Gaia and Pietro! The house is just amazing, even more beautiful then shown in the pictures. I felt I was staying in a 6 star hotel with a breathtaking view. The house was spotless, the bedrooms and kitchen are fully equiped and very spacious. Great communication with the hosts! Great location, near many highlights of the area. I would definately stay here again and would recommend it!

Amazing & perfect place
If a rating of 6 * have existed i would have put that. I don't know what s the best: the incredible and amazing view at all time of the day with all colors, the amazing house so modern inside but with all respect to wood and traditional tuscany's architecture (perfect 5 rooms with so clean and great bathroom in each / amazing kitchen and so much..), the incredible owner Gaia, available each time we had a question... Everything is perfect and great. We really spent here 2 of the best vacation weeks ever. Playing at the (great) pool, visiting all the villages around, trying many restaurants of course... I could write for ever. But If u r looking for a calm and perfect place on earth, i think here is taste of perfection.

Best property ever visited
Gaia and Pietro's house is probably one of the most beautiful in the area. The rooms, the common areas, the toilets, the swimming pool and garden - everything has a special touch which makes you feel calm and serene. The house has everything you need and is beautifully decorated. Gaia and Pietro were super responsive and tried to to their best to make our stay as special as it could be. They also gave us great tips for restaurants and places to visit. I recommend this experience to anyone that wants to get a sneak peek of Tuscany. It's a very beautiful region in Italy, and extremely good value for money.

Beautiful farmhouse in a stunning location. Amazing views, especially sunset, a beautiful and well-kept pool and a very tastefully furnished house. Gaia was the most fantastic host I have ever experienced. She was excellent at communicating and always wrote back straight away. She sent us lists of fantastic resturants, vineyards, citys and towns to visit and also sent us programmes of the local music festivals that were on at the time. The Villa was lovely and equipped with everything we needed! Thank you Gaia, you made our stay so fantastic!

In Love with Tuscany
To say our stay at Villa Vignalunga was magical would be an understatement! The pictures, although very descriptive, don't do it justice. This enchanted villa will bring you to terms with the true meaning of falling in love with Tuscany. As it is a little bit of a challenge to navigate the road which leads to this amazing place, we were thankful that the hostess, Gaia, is very responsive & helpful to make sure you get there. It is actually located just below Castiglione d'Orcia and the last 250 meters are dirt road. Unfortunately, your car nav system will be of no assistance. Once you travel through the gate to the villa you transform to a whole other place. The villa is surrounded by lush green hills and wooded area. The interior design is a wonderfully rustic farm home with fresh herbs growing on the terrace. The entire four bedroom 5 bath home is spotless-clean. The villa is truly a luxurious dream come true. We were blessed that our beloved Papa gifted us this fantastic stay. We upgraded our stay with a chef who provided dinner our first night and breakfast the next morning which was definitely worth the extra cost. Gaia was extremely accommodating to our menu wishes & even took note of allergy challenges. It's really a fairy-tale experience, complete with a pond filled with big white geese, wild deer barking the welcome of dawn & remnants of medieval castles dotting the landscape against the sunset dusk. Although you can travel to many medieval cities from the villa, we enjoyed several rainy afternoons sitting in front of the fire with a good historical novel and a glass of Proseco... of course! It should be everyone's bucket list wish to visit Gaia & her tranquil Tuscan tower.

amazing property,stunning views
It's hard to put into words what a beautiful and magical location this villa is set in. The villa itself is stunning. Modern character abounds and the attention to detail is amazing. The rooms are large and lounge areas very comfortable. The grounds are large and well maintained. The village is only a five minute drive away or you can walk but it is uphill. That was fine for us. If your hiring a car I'd recommend a 4x4 that's powerful as you'll need it for getting up and down the road that leads to the villa. We had one of the most amazing weeks of our life staying here and I recommend this villa highly. We will be going back :)

There is no word to describe the sunset at Gaia's villa. No words to describe the beauty of the views. No words to describe the joy and pleasure one enjoy when tasting some Tuscany wine together with local truffles cream, mozzarella di buffala and Italian hams with some friends all week. The villa has everything one needs and enjoys a perfect location. Gaia and her "staff" are not only friendly and details-oriented but very effective and available. Book as soon as possible or you may regret it
