"This is a piece of heaven. My husband and I were traveling with our dogs and visiting the state and national parks. Our room was big and we had all we needed. The grounds were peaceful and I enjoyed walking the dogs here. The Thirsty Goat bar and the Candelaria restaurant were so good. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We were hopeful to check in early, but our room was not ready until 6pm. That was the only inconvenience. We can’t wait to stay here again!"

"When I was planning my trip to Terlingua, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I found so many unique places to stay. After some research, I chose Ten Bits because of its rustic, Western-themed property. As I drove through the town, I passed other places I had considered, and I was 100% satisfied with my choice. en Bits is situated just off the highway, down a private road, which adds to the sense of isolation and tranquility. While you're just a short drive away from the heart of Terlingua, staying at Ten Bits feels like being in your own private oasis. The property is peaceful and quiet, offering an uninterrupted view of the desert landscape. The lack of nearby traffic and town hustle was the ideal setting for a desert getaway. We stayed in the “Gun Shop” room, which had a private bathroom, small fridge, and microwave. The weather was chilly during our visit, but the room’s wall unit kept it cozy. Sis welcomed us and encouraged us to explore the property. We enjoyed a sunset drive around the land, relishing the freedom to roam without worrying about trespassing. Next year, we're planning to return with family, as we now know which rooms are close together. In comparison to other places we considered, most were closer to town, had big windows facing the street, shared bathrooms, or views of the highway. Ten Bits provided exactly what we wanted: isolation with the luxury of a private bathroom and stunning views. It was the perfect desert retreat, and I can’t wait to return."

"The property was listed perfectly. It was clean and appointed very well. The kitchen had the necessary supplies as well as the rest of the home. We enjoyed our time at the home. Nice to have directions to the property and other essential information."

"The house was great!! Very clean and great decor. It is uniquely built where three couples can stay and have all the privacy they want with three separate entrances to their bedrooms. Outside is beautifully decorated and feels like your at home."

"We really enjoyed our stay. It was cut short a day but only because of fall on a trail at Big Bend. I emailed Ryan and let him know what happened and he and a nurse and a paramedic were there in no time to check out my injuries. So very helpful and greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this house. "The place itself was average, but over priced. Rats chewed the wiring on my new car causing a shortened stay and unexpected cost. Apparently, this is a known problem in the area. The host should have advised us so we could have been prepared. "

"Loved this place. It’s incredibly safe and cozy for being off grid. I was a bit nervous being off grid, but this property has other guests that stay in their own buildings… it felt like a little village. The room itself was so comfortable, clean and exactly what we needed. There were TONS of stars at night and stunning sunrises in the morning. Could not recommend more. We will be back. "

"It is a very nice place to stay. The game room is awesome. It’s nice to sit outside by the fire or sit on the furniture and look at the stars. It’s close to a gas station and food too. Will definitely be back to visit. "
