"Booked a single room for a two-night weekend stay. The room is small but perfectly comfortable for a solo traveller, and there are plenty of clever little shelves and storage, plus everything you'd expect from a decent hotel (TV, Nespresso machine, even a complimentary bottle of water). I actually really liked it. Bathroom was also small and perhaps just a little too much so, with not much space to dry after shower etc. But again it did the job; walk-in shower with curtain, hairdryer, couple of shelves and two hooks on the door. Staff were very friendly on check-in and check-out. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment (only because I was meeting friends elsewhere for breakfast). Apparently they do bike hire too but again I didn't use it. Location was about 20 mins walk from the centre, Centraal station etc, and a pleasant enough walk day and night. I would definitely recommend the Lancaster and would stay there again."

"Great hotel for overnight stay at Schiphol airport. Quick covered walk to the terminal straight from the hotel. Good food - nice staff. We always stay here on our way back to the states "

"Very close to the airport, clean and funky place. Bedroom view of the runway and electric blinds (blackout). Shower middle of the room but very nice. Unique place for sure. "

"We had an amazing stay! The hotel was beautiful, staff kind and knowledgeable. Would recommend staying here! Easy to pop onto the tram and get around town. Found the hotel a little warm, but very cold outside (November) so be sure to pack layers. "

"Very convenient place to stay and the staff is really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing but pricey. Our room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. We easily moved around the city on trams and buses; get the GVB multi day pass and go anywhere! Loved it. Even extended our stay by a night because the hotel was so excellent."
