"Great location tucked out of the way but easy to get to different attractions and shops. Amazing bakery 5mins walk.
Our host, Alex, was great...kept in touch through whats app.
Would stay again.

"Our family of 4 recently stayed here during our visit to Amsterdam and it was absolutely perfect! Agnes was an AMAZING hostess and the apartment was even better than we had imagined - wonderful location for everything we wanted to do and very comfy to return to after a long day. The bedrooms being downstairs was especially nice and quiet. We already want to plan our return and stay here again! "
"Great hotel in a wonderful neighborhood. Spotless, comfortable, bright rooms, excellent breakfast (not included), delightful staff. Close to the big museums and Concert Gebouw, lots of good restaurants and cafes around."

"In a quieter area, but easy to walk to public transportation and restaurants. Really wasn’t shopping, so I didn’t pay attention to shopping close by. "
Avani Museum Quarter Amsterdam Hotel (previously NH Amsterdam Museum Quarter)
10/10 Excellent
"First of all, Amsterdam and nearby areas turned out to be a dream area to visit. The Dutch are (mostly) so friendly. More than other European countries I have been to.
The best thing about this hotel is it's location. You can walk to the Rijksmuseum, Albert Cuyp market, Joordan, easily.
You can take public transportation to Haarlem and Giethoorn. Both are beautiful and must sees.
The public transportation is confusing. I wish the hotel would offer more help here.
Really enjoyed the cafes and bar, including the Alto Jazz cafe. All walking distance.
Nearby canal and bridge was charming. A canal cruise is a must. We chose Flagship for its open boats and we took the 9:15 pm tour which was heavenly.
Albery Cuyp market was amazing. Recommend the fish place highly. The harring was so fresh. So many food options.
Need to book museums in advance. Missed Van Gogh.
A word on the service. It is curt. Maybe cultural. No proactive help is offered. If asked a question, the tendency is to cut it off quickly. The only exception is the spanish speaking staff. Shoutout to Manuel.
Could have provided proactive info on transportation and nearby attractions. Did not feel like asking after initial conversation.
Room is not as big as spoken about, particularly for North Americans. Canal view is a must. Other side is drab. Shower leaks onto toilet by design.
Self service pantry is a plus for late nights.
Overall, was happy with the location. Not likely to return but not dissatisfied."
"Great family run property. Location was great! A couple minute walk to the tram/metro. Very quiet and good beds and a nice sized room. Would definitely stay there again! Thanks for a great stay!"
