"This is a very good option for the price. It is very clean and well maintained and you get the feeling in a Guatemalan home. It is 5 blocks from the airport so you can walk there very easily. You need to input the name of the house (Casa 96) into Maps, rather than the address (it will show up another location much further away from the airport). "I loved the fact that the property had a very colonial feel/sight to it. The property was within walking distance of the famous Arch, City Center, and restaurants. The area was quite safe, and guests really got a feel for what it must have felt like to live there during the Spanish invasion of Guatemala. "

"I stayed for a couple of hours over night after my flight arrived and again had to leave in the morning (4am) to catch another flight, and it was just what i needed! The host was very accommodating despite my late arrival. I made sure I communicated my times of arrival so she knew what time to expect me, etc. She provided me with arranged transportation (upon request and additional cost) so I felt extremely safe overall.
