"We have wanted to get up to the Pine Creek Valley to bicycle thru the PA Grand Canyon gorge. The cabin was perfect with the bike trail on one side of the property and river on the other. It turned out to be a little chilly to be on the trail everyday but the days we got in were perfect. "

"Charming cabin for a winter stay--but I bet it would be great in warm weather too when you can play in the creek! Lots of space to spread out. Our 11 year old was charmed to stay in a "real log cabin" and it was also his first experience with old fashioned radiators! Got pizza at Clementina's just a few minutes away & enjoyed it."

"Family of 6 stayed here for a weekend of snow tubing. It’s definitely no-frills, but worked great for the price and our purposes. Super convenient to Liberty and only about 20 min from Gettysburg. We didn’t get check in instructions initially, but when I messaged the owner, they got back to us with the code within minutes. This is a great place if you are looking for something cheap for the weekend."

"We have visited Benezette many times over the years, but as soon as we walked into this quaint cottage, my husband said, "I really like this one". And I did too. This hotel has limited office hours and appears to have mostly long-term guests. The family that runs the hotel are very kind.
