"The reception staff were very kind and helpful. The standard room I stayed in was a generous size, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was a very good size too and had a bath tub as well as a shower. The amenities in the room was more than enough, the staff replenished our teas and coffees everyday including water. Only downside from our lovely experience, was the guests that were staying next door. They were very loud and kept us awake for most of the night. Playing loud music and sometimes arguing. We didn’t inform the hotel reception as it was our last night anyway. I am sure if we had mentioned to the hotel staff, they would have done something about it as they were so friendly and helpful always."

"Located in what others on the island refer to as the posh area. They mean that because of the very high cost of properties and it is an up and coming area with a new designer shopping centre. It’s in a continuous strip of bars and restaurants all pretty standard but either side within minutes are very good places to eat offering a variety The road outside is fairly busy but in your room you don’t really hear it. Fantastic views of the bay if you have a front facing room. The boats/ferry to Valletta are within minutes walk. Our junior suite had a large bed, bigger than a super king and very comfortable Everything else you would need. The bathroom was great, nice shower the only negative part being there was nowhere to put your wash bag/toiletries other than on the edge of the basin, no hooks on the door or anywhere to put your clothes other than the floor. So we had to put a bedside table and stool in there to use so hopefully the hotel picks this comment up. Breakfast is taken next door and was better than expected certainly not just continental with the addition of cooked if you want it and very friendly/helpful staff to prepare something to your needs. So overall I would recommend a stay here, better than its 3 star rating on Expedia. The site also shows the junior suite image as having a double aspect window whereas ours just had a single patio door out to a balcony. The view was great so we were happy. Reception staff very friendly and helpful and went out their way."

"We stayed for 3 days and had a good time. The hotel holds events and provides shuttles throughout the week to attractions and towns which is such a nice idea. The staff are very helpful. Water for the room is charged for. Continental breakfast was worth the money as there was a wide selection of food and everything was piping hot and tasty. Options were available for all dietary requirements. The spa has a steam room, sauna and pool with jets as well ask lounge chairs and has a calming ambience. The room is very close to the beach and the beach club is only about a 2 minute walk. We were very lucky that the beach club was open for a few days during November due to good weather. Food took over an hour and a half to arrive at the beach club though it was delicious and the portion sizes were large. The size of the room was not what we expected, smaller than it looks photos and also different to photos in that the decor didn’t match and was remarkably less spacious. The hotel is halfway up a hill and it only takes about 5 minutes or less to walk to the bottom of either side of the hill. This is also where the bus stops are. Locker bus stop and Sliema bus stop are walkable and provide links to different parts of Malta. "

"From check-out to check-in, the professionalism of the staff was beyond amazing. Both in the restaurant, the housekeeping, the wellness and the front desk staff. I loved being greeted with a drink upon arrival. That was a bonus. Everyone is friendly and always greets you with a smile on their face. The rooftop view is amazing, too bad the 10live restaurant was closed when I went there. The gym could be bigger and have more equipment. I could not jump rope due to the low ceiling, but took advantage of the elliptical. The exercise machines were good. The bed in the room was very comfortable. I just wish there was soundproof doors because you can hear the live band from across the street playing, but at least they ended before 10:30pm, and the blackout curtains were NOT actually blackout curtains. The curtains did not hit the floor all the way. Other than that, great housekeeping. I love how eco-friendly the hotel is. They sometimes have a live band downstairs and I liked that guests from the hotel could go to the Aqualuna pool across the street for free. It is a must do on a nice sunny day. I was there end of November and there were really nice 73-75 degree Fahrenheit (22 -24 celcius) days. I like that you can walk down to the ferry and for less than 4 euros roundtrip, you can go to Valletta. There are busses to St. Julian and also Valletta up the street from the hotel. Restaurants within walking distance. I would come back to this hotel & recommend it! A solid 9/10"

The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the local area, with many attractions and a wide selection of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist. Breakfast each morning has a wide selection of delicious options to suit every taste. From fresh fruit and pastries to hot dishes, the breakfast spread was both varied and satisfying. I highly recommend Azur Hotel for anyone looking for a clean, well-situated, friendly and reasonably priced place to stay."
