"I called the hotel 2 weeks before to confirm my reservation to which I was told it's fine. Saturday evening before I left New York I called to remind them I'd be there late and to have the heat on in the room and I was told no problem. Later I received an voicemail stating that they had no room for me. The annoyance is that hotels.com has my confirmation for my reservation, So the communication is almost non-existent."

"This is my second time staying in the village. Both times something went wrong. This time the heat did not work when we arrived and had to have someone come fix it, except they did not fix it or put us up in another unit. He showed me how to manually make the heat come off and on and I had to get us three times my first night on vacation to do this. Not cool. Than the next day I called twice to get it addressed. It eventually was but making sure the heat works should be on the che k list. "
