I got a text from the owner of the house the day of check in asking if we had a 4WD vehicle as the road goes unplowed usually. Luckily, we had AWD and snow tires so we were okay. "Off the beaten path and very quiet. Our host went above and beyond to help us get this booked. Great place to disconnect and enjoy some beautiful countryside. Just a bit of advice if you’re using Waze as your GPS to this paradise it is father down the road then it will tell you. Look for the double red gates and the driveway is across from that. "

"We enjoyed this small cabin, it was perfect for 2 or 4 people. I enjoyed sitting on the porch and reading. Pam couldn't have been any nicer. We wanted to check out the lake, but didn't realize that they drain it after Labor Day. So we just spent a relaxing couple of days there. If you go, check out Alfredo's restaurant. Their subs and pizza are delicious."
