Quite difficult communicating with the staff if you don’t know English The room didn’t have some basic things like shower slippers, shampoo, soap and lotion. The serviettes at the kitchen end, the coffee marker or boiler. When I arrived it lacked cutlery and dustbin until I asked for them"

"This is THE BEST PLACE in Cameroon. Star Land Douala and Yaoundé. Booked Yaounde after my experience in Douala. AMAZING. For a hotel not affiliated to a “world brand”, it is just EXCEPTIONAL. Means you can be local and BEAT GLOBAL BRANDS. I can NEVER go somewhere else in Cameroon. My family loved the place even more than me. Wait till you try their PILLOWS and great organic food. My gosh. Just go. The closest experience I had was in Australia and Thailand. Amazing staff. Thank you Star Land. Worth my time and money. Looking forward to my next trip Cheers "
