"Hotel asked for credit card info on sheet of paper incase customer caused damage, even tho room fully paid online. I do understand reason.Tried to explain that Aus has national privacy law agst collecting/keeping personal info esp credit card info, their practice was actually violation. Owner got aggressive, insisted that is their policy and wanted to throw us out without listening. Didnt understand nor stop what he was doing to listen. Wasnt trying to be difficult, infact did hand over card...

"Was stranded outside the house for over 1.5 hour trying to get in touch with expedia and the home owner by international call ($$$). The service was not friendly AT ALL and even wanted to refund us without giving any alternative solution when we couldnt enter the property after almost 2 hours. Upon entering, the house looks ok until you take a closer look, its dusty and dirty. The bed has poop on it, not sure lizard or what insects. Also, asked the owner simple questions like wifi but it was NOT...

"Our stay at Turquoise Escape was wonderful. The house was tidy, well presented and in an excellent location. Having our own personal grassed area was a bonus with the kids. The pool was perfect for all ages and well secured. Walking distance to the shops, playground and beach with different access points to the estate made it easy to come and go from the property.
