"This Holiday inn Express blew ourind with the comfort and niceness of all of the staff. The buffet was perfect and anything we needed the staff was happy to assist. We hiked up and down Gibraltar and we're exhausted when we got back. Our room was perfect for recouping. Betty (front desk) was a very nice person who wanted to make our stay as fun and comfortable as possible. I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel at this historic place. It made our limited time in Gibraltar even more enjoyable."

"Lovely hotel surrounded by a nice garden. Many seating areas to relax and have a drink, chat or play a game. (Early) check in was easy. Breakfast buffet was well stocked with many choices. Initially we got a key to a standard (poolside) room which was outdated. Highly recommend upgrading as our main building room was very nice. Personally I liked the historical look of the hotel with marble stairs, wooden floors and wrought iron."

"Very unassuming from the outside, but with a spectacular interior. A wonderful lady at the reception. Conveniently located if you want to explore the old town and/or catch the ferry for a day trip to Morocco. For a fee, the hotel offers parking in an underground car park about 150 meters away - the only space available was too narrow for my midsize SUV, but there is an excellent public parking garage with valet service also just 150 meters away, and even slightly cheaper than what you would pay at the hotel."

Lots of areas to sit and relax, it is a lovely hotel. Very close to the train station. I can highly recommend Hotel Mir Octavio and I would stay again"
