"Unlike other upscale hotels in China, patrons were not required to take showers or wear caps in the pool area. Some were soaking with their T-shirts and skirts/pants on. I was not sure whether it was a natural hot spring as advertised. There was no signs stating the kinds or concentration of minerals in any one of the pools, I also wondered why herbs needed to be put into some of the pools if the Facility was bestowed with natural spring water. "Don’t be fooled by the Westin branding. Classic domestic hotel: looks good from a distance but rooms too hot and too dry, no way to control heating, fixtures and fittings falling apart, horrible smells coming from the plumbing, poor cleanliness, offensively bad coffee etc. Honestly, I suspect it’s no better or worse than the neighbouring hotels, just giving an honest review from a European perspective. Staff were very friendly though, and it’s very close to the ski area. Good restaurants...
