"Great. Only problem. There were dirty dishes in dishwasher. No biggie for me so I was just going to wash them but no soap to do so. I bought some, washed and put away the dishes. I was not sure what to do with trash but left trash bag in trash can. When I got home, I found out where it should go to. Sorry about that. Place was perfect for me. Had a great visit with my granddaughter at UVA,"

"We have stayed at the White Elephant several times and keep coming back because it is a great house. The pool is spectacular and the amenities are excellent. The house is also conveniently located and accessible to pretty much everything in Charlottesville. "

It was close to everything, had free parking, was in a great neighborhood with exceptional views, lots of space, very clean and modern and had all the essentials. We were five people and had beds for all with space to seoerate. Also two full bathrooms was a great plus. The trails behind the building were also a great treat. "First, the hosts are so friendly and helpful and kind! Couldn't ask for nicer hosts. The property is lovely and hanging out with so many animals is such a bonus. Watching the ducks was especially fun! The hosts also went above and beyond with extras, from a stocked donation based pantry to toiletries to extra towels and blankets "

"Place was in a perfect location for food and wandering around. Room was nice, and as described. Clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. Scent on linens from laundering was mild but still bothered my allergies. Not their fault, I am just very sensitive. Banana nut bread was a nice treat! "
