"The Fourviere Lyon was a total surprise for us. Upon arrival, we found a high quality hotel created from an abandoned convent built in mid 1800's. The structure is built in a square with an enclosed courtyard which offers a peaceful, walkable area for the patrons. Surrounding the hotel are ancient ruins of a Roman arena. Lots of history here! "

The lady at the reception who checked us in specifically was very helpful and helped us with all the information we needed with travelling around the area, food recommendations and anything else we needed. Breakfast in the restaurant was very good as well and the waiting staff in the restaurant area was very pleasant and friendly.
