"The apartment is very well located for skiing and walking however, on the Verbo website, it lists two double rooms but actually there is only one. The other two are bunk rooms which was awkward with two couples. The Wi-Fi is quite weak and the non-stick pans need replacing. But the chalet is warm, comfortable and welcoming and the owner very responsive. Easy to access with good parking (except our bay was full of snow) so we parked in a visitor space of which there are several."

"We spent 6 days in the chalet for a family skiing holiday in January 2018. The chalet is reasonably close to the town centre (10 minutes walk) and there is a bus link into town and to the Vonnes ski lifts at the top of the drive. The chalet is cosy and well equipped, and looks fresh and well maintained. Apart from the main double bedroom, the other bedrooms are small but nice and warm. "A great chalet located next to Sherpa supermarket and a short walk to the centre of Chatel with all the cafes, restaurants, bakeries and Super Chatel ski lift. "Het huis was heel fijn, van alle gemakken voorzien. We waren met 14 personen en de keuken was hier goed in voorzien. Ook heel fijn dat iedere kamer een eigen badkamer heeft. "It was very cute & within a ten minute walk to the the village. Located on a hillside has a fantastic view up the valley towards the ski area. It has wood interior & a decent kitchen with gas job, electric oven, fridge, toaster, kettle & coffee maker. Furnishings were pleasant and clean. Bed was comfy. 5 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom(Sleeps 10) chalet in the Portes Du Soleil with hot tub

Excellent Chalet

"We were a party of 10 (2 families). The Chalet suited us perfectly. 4 x double bedrooms and a "kids" room. Hot tub was excellent. Very convenient for the Barbossine Chair lift, though unfortunately in February 2024 there wasn't enough snow to be able to ski back down, so we had to get the bus from town. The first few days we tried to get Bus 2 form Super Chatel, but it was always rammed and we had to wait about an hour, then we worked out that if we got on a Linga we always got the first bus and only added about 10 minutes to the bus journey. Nice double garage meant we had our cars safely locked away all week. It was possible to walk from town in ski boots in about 15 minutes, but with the little ones in our group we only did it once. Close to a small convenience store (pricey!) that also sold pizzas, and also a hotel bar, that sold well priced beer and dangerously strong Mojitos! We had a fantastic week, despite the poor snow cover and would return."

"We were lucky enough to stay at this gorgeous Mezot for Christmas! Stunning views, short walk to the centre of the village, where you can find everything you might need for your stay ! The hosts were extremely kind and welcoming, which we are very grateful for! We will definitely go back as we truly fallen in love with this beautiful part of the world!"
