"I stayed in Le Grand Ermitage by Nemea for 4 days and the experience was fantastic and just as promised. We were planning to check in very late, so I called them and they made arrangements for us to get into to the unit without any trouble. The receptionist was very friendly. She spoke perfect English and when I told her I am learning French, she started teaching me French. This is a very rare degree of friendliness! Unfortunately, the development lacks from an attention to detail in a number of areas, including the fixtures and fittings and the layout of the kitchenette. The swimming pool and sauna were overcrowded. "Really lovely hotel for families, they have great family facilities, not for couple through! It's full of children and not a romantic getaway we were hoping for with kids all over the spa in the evenings. We were so impressed with the facilities for kids though we'll definitely be back if we have kids. "We arrived after 1400, reception staff Mon existent. A cleaner helped us inside via the restaurant, still no reception staff! 10 mins later a member of staff arrived. Room not ready, no chance to eat in restaurant as full that evening. Other hotel restaurant in vicinity also full. Advised to go into Clusaz and try our look there! Balcony had 'view' of blank 2 storey wall, not hills or lake as detailed. Hotel is undergoing extension building works to finish in June 19."

"The hotel and staff were great however when we stayed it was exstremly warm 31 deg C. The rooms do not have air con and the only thing we could do was open the window whichthen meant our room would settle at 31 deg C. As it was cooler on the night we left the window open but we got a lot of noise from the train station. All in all yes we would stay there again as the staff were great and hotel spotless."
