"All up good. Rooms look welcoming and have had a freshen up in recent times. Bed was newish but for me too soft. Bathroom clean and newish. Clean towels and clean sheets. 👍 All up good value room. Outside of building looked terrible and as if it's closed. Used to be maybe some sort of pub or something. But that obviously didn't affect stay but if I wouldn't have prebooked I don't think I would have gone in by the external appearance. And reception needs to be a little more welcoming. But...

"It was entirely up to my expectations for the price we paid. Very pleased. Friendly and competent staff - always so important! Given that the dining room was closed in the evenings over the holiday period, a pamphlet explaining the various dining options could have been placed nearby. Breakfast was great. "

"I have been here before and am used to the rundown condition. Mostly tradesmen but also many regular colourful characters. This time I got room 26 in the courtyard. It was noisy until 11 pm. Next time I will ask for a room facing the carpark - last time I had 12 or 12A which were much quieter . Sheets were clean as usual. Didn't use the TV. Fridge works fine "

"Fantastic value for money and generous space given the 2 level accommodation. The bathroom is large with sides for his and hers. A great space to rest and get some work done during transits. Also, the comfortable leather armchairs are a win. "

"The complex is neat and tidy, the Taven was very good, noisy by it was a Saturday night and that was expected. The room are clean and well equipment but do look aged but still good ."
