"It was a delight to hear the wildlife, and nothing else (!), during my stay at The Hideaway. - Quite refreshing. The accommodation has all one needs, but the emphasis has to be towards the “outdoors”, the tranquillity it offers and marvellous views of the countryside. Walks galore on your doorstep, or just find a spot to sit and take it all in. Well worth a visit."

"The barn was small and cosy and perfectly equipped for a lovely night away. It was a little tricky to find with the postcode so a few more detailed directions would have been handy. The only criticism was that there were a lot of dog hairs on the furniture and carpet upstairs even though the sign said no pets allowed upstairs."

"Wonderful old house on great surrounds, although off a busy road. Unfortunately, kitchen not up to standard due to cleanliness and overall dirt everywhere. Oven desperately needs a good clean. Also plagued with flies seemingly living within the wall cervices. We enjoyed our stay after giving the place (kitchen in particular) a good clean."

"Well kept clean property perfectly suited to our needs Adjacent bus stop gave easy access to Winchester city centre and a Tesco was close by plus pubs with dining opportunities. This was our first experience with VRBO, we would certainly use them again and hope for the same excellent standard"

"Very homely, beautifully decorated with interesting art work throughout, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds.We thought it might be noisy because the trains were near but it was not at all- a very quiet and peaceful location with great walks nearby. The town of Alresford with it's independent shops and plenty of choice for eating out is lovely. We ate well and reasonably at The Bell as recommended by our host. We visited Winchester using the cheap and efficient Park and Ride system. Wonderful...

"Property was lovely , very clean . The location details sent by the owner got us lost and was difficult to find especially when they didn’t answer their phone. The location on Vrbo was correct and helpful . We had some issues with the house and the owner wasn’t responsive so that wasn’t very helpful . We called a few times on their emergency phone and they didn’t have a record? House was well equipped but lacking some very basic things . No first aid kit nor hairdryer two things we could have...

"Really great stay in this flat. Perfect for the car show up the road which we had travelled down for. The pub across the way did good value food. Only thing I would say is don’t email the property hosts, just text or phone the mobile number!"
