We were there with our three kids (ages 3-9) and felt safe in the area. The location was fantastic and the kids loved having the beach so close. "Loved the house. The guest house. The location. All the beach toys they have. You could hit a golf ball into the ocean from the yard. You walk through a little park that has a big playground for little kids on that beach the most crowded it was were eight people Down to none. "Stand alone is a very nice 3 bedroom, one bath cottage. It is very roomy with kitchen, living room and dining room. The map showed the cottage was in the town of St. George’s, which was incorrect. It is a half mile hilly walk to town which was a problem for my wife who has mobility issues. The main reason we booked it was its location. I guess I should have researched it more. I didn’t find out where it was located until two days before our trip. So we had to take taxis, which are expensive...

The location is in the middle of the island away from the resorts, so you get a more local experience- shopping at the grocery store, taking the bus, enjoying Bermudian favorites at Island Cuisine. "Great clean property, felt safe, good location to bus pick ups. About 15 min walk to a beach, but the bus system is easy to get you any of the amazing beaches. Few minute walk to the grocery store was also great, and the kitchen was great to help keep costs down. "

"We arrived during a rain storm, so did not realize how amazing the house is. Sue met us and showed us around. The views cannot be beat, we spent most of the time on the back patio enjoying the view. The kitchen is well Equipped for cooking. Jen was so helpful and our needs were addressed immediately. I will definitely be back. Bermuda is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. If I could give it 20 stars I would!"

"Owner was absolutely wonderful. Checked us in right away even thought we were a bit early. It was pouring rain and he upgraded our room to try and make up for the poor weather--super thoughtful and kind. A few hundred meters from the hotel is a restaurant called Clarabells. It has wonderful pizza. Would stay here again and definitely recommend to others. "

"Amazing location in the most peaceful of settings. I stayed here for five nights and enjoyed it the fullest. You are just feet away from the water each morning you open the front door. There is so much to take in and experience. I was able to kayak to nearby islands, grill out on the bbq, frequent local eateries, workout at the nearby gym, and enjoy endless sightseeing. I’ve been to over 15 Caribbean islands and this is easily in my top 3 of best places to stay. Loved every second I was here."

"The moment you drive down the driveway and see the amazing ocean views from the house you know you’re staying somewhere special! We stayed in Studio By the Sea which was a lovely apartment with very comfortable bed and kitchen that has everything you need to prepare a meal. Our host Lorna makes you feel very welcome and was extremely responsive to our communications. She generously allowed us to park our two seater EV next to the apartment and charge for free. We would happily stay there again...

Great location and great service

"The property is a mix of dated and upgraded facilities(dining). The pool area is in good shape and the pool was heated to a very comfortable temperature. There is a small and very nice protected beach area. If you keep your eyes open you may see the roaming parrot fish. All the meals were well prepared and there is a lot of variety in menu items. Service is spot on. Room (King balcony) was sizable and with a nice view of the inlet. The rooms are a bit dated, however comfortable and kept most of the neighborly noise to a minimum. The resort is a great start point as buses in both directions collect there. A notable item that may a bit for those not use to it are the roaming chickens(and most of the island). You need to be expecting to hear roosters in the morning."

"This was an excellent choice for our family! From the moment we stepped out of the taxi, we felt welcomed and at home! We loved the cozy atmosphere of the hotel! The accommodations and grounds are gorgeous and clean! The staff was absolutely amazing! Everyone was friendly and happy to assist! The area is convenient and very walkable! I beyond recommend this property and would absolutely return in the future! We felt safe and very much taken care of during our stay! Thank you for an amazing experience!"
