"The bears den was a nice quiet getaway for me and my wife to celebrate our anniversary. She chose this time of year because of the fall leaves and the Allegheny national Forest was full of awesome autumn sights. The property is a repurposed restaurant and each unit has a unique theme. We loved the decor and the privacy. The river is short walk from the front door. We would stay again for sure. "

"We enjoyed our stay! Very limited dining options nearby, but the “pub” across the bridge has surprisingly good food! Service was friendly too! Having the dollar store in walking distance was nice. Nice location central to all the hiking and activities we planned! I loved having my coffee outside watching the river.
