"My family just returned from a wonderful weekend in Greenbackville. This was our second trip to this home. The house is clean, spacious and well stocked with all the supplies we needed in the kitchen and bath areas. We will definitely book another stay. The owner was great to deal with and was quick to answer any questions we had. We love the area and enjoy our morning coffee on the back deck in such a peaceful environment. We even saw a bald eagle one morning - so majestic! Easy drive to Chincoteague, Pocomoke & Berlin. "

The community and residents were very friendly. The proximity to Chincoteague is perfect. We stayed an extra day because we didn't want to leave. We are already planning our visit for next year. "Property did not have central air our entire stay and we were strung along being told it would be fixed. Small stand alone units were installed but did not cool the home below 84 degrees. The units spilled water on the floor and errored out-totally inadequate for cooling the space. No communication btwn home owner, property mgmt company and myself. Will never book with Coastal Shores or Vrbo again. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at captains cove. The house was perfect for our needs in a beautiful location. Would recommend. It would be helpful though if there was a ladder to get in and out of the bay. Some of the steps in the front of the house should be fixed also. This did not take away from our stay."

"You will LOVE staying here! I have high expectations of my vacation rentals and this one checked off ALL of my boxes. If you love a clean house, a gorgeous view, and AWESOME air conditioning, this place will not disappoint! The proximity to the pool and the marina restaurant was perfect. The kitchen was stocked with equipment, just be sure to bring spices, dish soap, and dish detergent! Also make sure you pack plenty of toilet paper, paper towel, and dish detergent. Remember, it’s common for rentals to give you a few of the above items, but it’s up to you to supply the rest— this is the only thing I should have prepared for. Regardless of having to bring extra items, I did not mind AT ALL! I was so bummed at the end of the trip, my family and I didn’t want to leave. We enjoyed spending nights on the deck in the rocking chairs."

"We enjoyed our stay at Baywatch Bungalow in Captain's Cove. The house is clean and is what it says in the listing. It's close to the beach (20 min.) and the town where the beach is. The town is small and had mini golf, ice cream, and shops but that is about it. That said there are some things you should know before staying in this community. The amenities fee is needed for all amenities (not just the pool). You need it for the bike trail, tennis, etc. Also, do not assume the neighbors will allow water access because it's close to this home. You must ask first. We had a hard time finding where to enter the water with our kayaks. Lastly, (not the owner's fault but....) I feel we should have been warned that there was a home being built next door to this house. We woke to banging and talking in the early morning. There were trucks in the driveway not allowing us to leave when we wanted. We also had to look at a porta potty when we were on the porch. I know this is something that no one can control but we should have been told before we booked. This is a new build community so there is a lot of construction going on."
