"It’s winter and very cold out. My nickname for th thermostat is the Roaster! It’s either roast or open th window and get stuffy noses. We had 3 rooms and all were th same. It’s an older hotel so some things are expected to be dated.bathrooms r very small. Staff very friendly/helpful"

"Convenient, no-frills hotel in renovated old building, with friendly, helpful staff. Near local and express subway stops, buses, French bakeries, great delis & groceries, discount shopping. Elevators, key cards. Private bathrooms, some adjoining rooms for families. Good closets but no mini-fridges or microwaves. Showers lack grab bars, anti-slip strips on floor, and seats--should be added.. Sinks have sharp corners, narrow rims. Good value for the price but multiple layers of taxes."
