"I was able to experience staying in a typical Victorian house. The owner made sure I had all I needed; he was prompt, cheerful, and polite. Groceries, fine dining, take-out, etc. are all nearby. I especially liked the charity shops where I was able to buy old books."

"A great guesthouse looked good as approached from the outside, tucked behind one of main roads so the bus stop is literally 2 mins away. I was greated by Alison who welcomed me in and made me feel at ease - thank you. The room was big and very clean, with tea/coffee. The decor was amazing too. The bed was so cozy and comfortable. Highly recommended."

"Lovely staff, easy check in, fantastic room very comfy and clean and had everything we could have wished for. The only down side was someone was hammering on the front door for half an hour at 4.30am which woke us up but will definitely stay here again. Haven’t tried the breakfast yet as it’s only 7am but I’m told it’s wonderful!"
