Didn't like that we couldn't have glass/porcelain coffee cups or wine glasses in the room. Didn't like that the rooftop bar ran out of Bourbon to make the drink we ordered. Didn't like that the rooftop bar menu offered hot beverages but were unable to make them. Didn't like that our internet and tv did not stay connected until our check out time.

Hotel was in a centrally good location. Walkable area. Parking is across street. Your room key turns on your electricity in your room. That would have been helpful to know at check in.

I did not like that the majority of the staff cannot speak English which makes it very difficult to understand and very frustrating. We need more Americans in these jobs. I did not like that the nice hotel didn't have a nice Keurig and good coffee in the room. There was a cheap coffee maker, a cheap small fridge, cheap coffee and only 2 individual plain coffee creamers for 2 people drinking coffee. It's like Hotel Riu didn't care if they served you great coffee and provided you with a decent fridge like you go to nice Hotels. The breakfast buffet was Phenomenal, they had something for everyone!! I wished the breakfast would extend till 11:00am

I decided to stay at this hotel because it’s a brand new property and was curious as to what it had to offer. The layout inside the lobby was very nice and clean, and the staff was great in helping get me checked in. As for my room, it was spacious and on a floor that was quiet so I could get rest when needed. Finally, the breakfast buffet was excellent! It had plenty of everyday options as well as unique dishes. Only downsides I would mention is that the restaurant isn’t clear about whether or not they are a full fledged restaurant or just a dining hall that serves breakfast. Also, the train station is a bit of a walk from the property but nothing too bad. Overall, this was an excellent stay and I look forward to staying at the Riu Plaza again.
