When we visit Chicago, we typically stay with family. That didn’t work this year, so we searched for a perfect location for three generations of family. This place met all our needs. We had grandpa, mom and dad and two tween/teen kiddos. Grandpa had his own room and bathroom and the rest of us shared two rooms and one bathroom. The living area has plenty of space to hang out, and the kitchen is well stocked with equipment and basics. The surrounding neighborhood is nice, and so many great places in Logan Square are close by. The one thing we regretted was not being able to use the floor heaters since we went in the summer. One thing to note for those with mobility issues- this is a garden apartment, so not ground level. You have to go down 3-4 steps (plenty wide and navigable) to get to the apartment. Those stairs would benefit from a handrail as well just to add some safety for the older folks, but everything else was spot on!
