Hacienda Chichen is one of our very favourite resorts anywhere in the world! On this most recent visit, our destination was the hacienda and we didn't even bother to tour Chichen Itza. We just love hanging out at the stunningly beautiful pool set amongst the historic cottages and meticulously landscaped gardens of this jungle oasis. Such an idyllic, peaceful spot! The terrace of the restaurant overlooks the grounds and is a wonderful spot to have a leisurely breakfast or enjoy dinner as the sun goes down.

The property we’re trying to charge us for some fruit we bought from the market and had in our room. I’m diabetic and had to eat something little. When we refused to pay, they tried to charge us for beers in the fridge which we did not touch. It definitely was a horrendous experience. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

Wonderful hotel. The staff was very friendly, facilities extremely clean and well maintained. The restaurant was the best food we had the entire time in Mexico. Super close to the ruins which was very convenient!

The staff at Hacienda Chichén are simply fantastic. The level of service was outstanding and we feel as though we made new friends. The grounds are impeccable and very quiet and relaxing. The chef prepares wonderful meals that provide many different choices and the food quality is outstanding. I can’t recommend this resort enough and we will look forward to returning to Hacienda Chichén!

Beautiful oasis of calm!
The grounds of the hotel are really beautiful with abundant bird life. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to use the pool but it looked very inviting. The food was excellent as was the service. The location very close to Chichen Itza was perfect.
