"We are local to this hotel. We stayed 1 night as we lost power. People in tire area are not known for being too friendly. Honesty, if i didn't know better, I wouldn't have thought I was still in Scranton. The young man at the desk (I believe his name was Tyler) was fantastic. Very friendly, willing to do anything to help us. The cook at the breakfast place also so nice to my young daughter. Everyone was really great. Bartender at the restaurant ( long haired gentleman) also very accommodating....

"So I’m a college student that comes out here for my bf’s football games, and I stayed here prior to their renovations and I will say the rooms were definitely in need of some tlc… doable for a goods night sleep. But I just visited again and stayed here and OH WOW the renovations did wonders, the room was very nice and new. And also didn’t stink! As some of these other reviews say!"

"My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton in Dickson City Scranton, Pennsylvania. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Along with the welcoming theme, the rooms at the hotel are very cozy and truly feel like you are staying in a “home.” We had a room with a mountain view and that added to our cozy feeling during our stay!
