"A very modern, perfectly equipped property, amazing swimming pool, wonderful little beach with cristal clear water down the stairs of the property, garden and pool area in the same perfect condition as the apartment. Perfect location also for trips and hikes in the area. Our only regret was that we had to leave after 5 nights. Highly recommendable!"

"A lovely place, situated conveniently close to beaches, various restaurants, local shops and a 'mini'market'. Free parking is available uncovered or covered. None of the properties around the 20m x 10m pool look at each other, increasing your privacy. The only downside was the management dealing with problems etc. We advised them that the TV was not working. They said that that they would arrange for an engineer to come out, but nobody came."

"Our holiday in the Villa met all our high expectations. The Villa has superb accommodation and outside areas and facilities. The Management Company looked after a couple of issues which arose, including loss of hot water, very quickly. Makry Gialos is a fantastic and authentic resort, away from the tourist hot spots. Für den der Ruhe sucht ist die Lage perfekt den es gibt keine wirklich direkten Nachbarn. Wann immer wir wieder nach Kreta kommen, dann in die Aphrodite Villa Achlia."
