"The lovely Magdalena (Mags) on reception was very welcoming offering a glass of champagne whilst checking in. She upgraded our room, helped with our bags and showed us round the room. The room was beautiful with tea/coffee facilities and fresh milk in the fridge. Toiletries were very nice. The bed was huge and super comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"A very enjoyable stay, enhanced by spacious accommodation, excellent food and local cask beers and very pleasant staff. A slight downside was the lack of a bell on the unmanned reception when we arrived to check in or have breakfast and the rather confusing breakfast table with a sign encouraging us to 'help ourselves' to juices and cereals whilst waiting for a cooked breakfast, but then being charged for them. No-one in attendance most of the time during breakfast - had to ask for spoons....

A kettle, teas, coffee and hot chocolate it's on a busy road above a what are provided as standard and there's a good hairdryer in a draw. sounded busy pub, so don't expect complete silence. The traffic through the night did not wake me. Absolute bargain price considering the time of year. Breakfast was included in the price. I had the full English, on the first morning which hadgood size...

"Excellent food. Fabulous service from reception, bar and restaurant. Beautiful location with amazing views. Friendly hospitable staff. Plenty of parking. Room was comfortable and spacious. It’s an old building with the related issues (you’d creak a bit if you were that old!). The breakfast buffet was limited however the cooked breakfast food more than made up for this. The evening meals were outstanding. We were part of a group of 6 and none of us were disappointed with the choice or quality. "

"The building is beautiful. I stayed in the Little Budworth room, the bed was very comfy and the room had old world charm with a beautiful view of the chapel. I needed a phone charger and the lady on reception brought one up for me and would not take a tip, she was lovely. I didn't see any facilities for room service, but that's not saying they didn't. "

"Hartford Hall is a nicely appointed hotel and pub in Northwich, situated between Chester and Manchester. My room was very comfortable with a big bed, a nice bathroom and shower, and good tea/coffee facilities including a coffee machine with pods. The downsides were the windows could do with replacing as my window wouldn't shut completely, meaning I could regularly hear the traffic going by. Thankfully there wasn't really a draft as the radiator was working well. With earplugs I slept fine but...
